I am a Narrm (Melbourne) Australia based artist and illustrator working in a variety of digital and traditional media including watercolour painting, coloured pencil and acrylic painting. My main interest and the focus of my artistic practice is the natural world, especially the plants and animals of my local region along with those of local zoos and wildlife reserves.
Growing up on the south coast of NSW I was immersed in nature, between the beautiful beaches and the lush bushland of the region. I studied Natural History Illustration at the University of Newcastle where I developed skills in scientific illustration as well as nurturing my creative practice as an artist. After completing my degree with honours I moved to Wurundjeri country, where I live with a small dog who is an eager companion on frequent bushwalks and occasional beach walks.
